Rebuild Escondido

Dear Fire Survivors, 

Over the last 15 months Rebuild Escondido has provided support and aid to numerous fire affected families in the greater Escondido area.  This aid has come in variety of forms, including workshops, financial assistance, advocacy, and case management referrals. Rebuild Escondido has made a positive impact on the lives of over 100 hundred fire survivors in addition to providing fire preparedness information to community members throughout the area.

Over the last few months the number of Fire Survivors seeking assistance from Rebuild Escondido has dropped significantly. A majority of you are well on your way in the building process or have decided on other options. In order to be good stewards of disaster monies we are going to close down the Rebuild Escondido Recovery Center effective March 13, 2009 and transferring all cases to RB United. If you are still in need of assistance the very capable staff of RB United can provide you with assistance.
